interesting old post. Did you ever get anywhere with this car? I just bought a 62 Lark that looks quite a little different but under the skin is very close to the same car. Mine has a re-badged chevy 283 (the Thunderbolt V8) so engine wrok should be easy and cheap. I'm thinking that I'd like to get one of the MustII fornt end setups and put under it before I even start driving it to get some disks up front and get a ball joint front. Just curious if you got it rolling and what worked/didn't

I haven't done much with the car except purchase a few parts for it.. Currently we are tossing a 65 Olds together for Power Tour and I still need to finish off a 69 Z thats about 75 percent done. I will be sure to update this post when I get somewhere though!

Daytonas were hardtops while Commanders were post cars. You can see the window frames on the doors of the car that Nitro Ranger posted the link to.

Hey Phil what's the other future project you got stored there next to the Cutlass..............possibly Corvair?

Yes I do have a Corvair as well.. its a 65. I'm am currently working on finishing my other 69 Z28. I have an old thread there that I will update as soon as I pick the car up from having the cage welded in that I bent up. That car has been sitting un worked on for a number of years as other life things came into play. But I am finally getting to it again.

Don't you worry about it a bit... This project is moving along. Albeit slowely it is movin... Collecting parts for this car has proven to be a slow process. Let's face it, getting the hood pull and latch to work was a challenge. Can't exactly 'order' new parts from Year One or Detroit Speed on this one.

Well we did have a little time on our hands last night so Paul (my Dad) a couple friends and I did a trial run on the power plant. Have a look

2002 LS6 / T56. Is there another way to do it these days? Haha

Standard issue... The whole tunnel front to back needs to come out. Ugh. Oh well our slip roll will get a work out once again, only this time out of 18g and not 16!

Thanks guys, we are still ironing out the details but will keep you updated. The only other thing that is a for sure are the wheels, AR Salt Flats 17x11's in the rear. We are contemplating whether to go 16's or 17's in the front. I really like the idea of 16's to give it a little stagger in diameter. What do you guys think?
