      1965 GTO/Lemans Pinchweld molding

Can anyone clarify the difference between these. I know that they are different because OPG has two different part numbers for them. OPG told me that the LeMans has an open end up by the rear side window and the GTO doesn't . That would mean that the trim on the top of the door is different ? If anyone has any close up shots of the side of their GTO by the side windows, I would greatly appreciate it.

The GTO/Lemans pinch weld should be the same, however, The Tempest is totally different. The Tempest pinch weld molding narrows into a round tube and the Tempest has no SS molding at the base of the windows at the door top. GTOs therefore use a different pinch weld that fits into the flat SS trim the continues along the base of the quarter window and door top. Because of this difference the window weatherstrip is also different. GTO/Lemans are just rubber while the Tempest has the round SS egde trim made to the weatherstrip.
