I've been to the DQ show a couple times when I visit my parents (and my Mach 1) on a Friday evening, but I usually end up going a bit later for the import/drift/street racers that show up a bit later in the Home Depot parking lot. The folks that attend the DQ shows seem a bit stodgy, and sometimes just plain arrogant. But that may have just been the few *****s I talked to.

That doesn't suprise me honestly, the group that does alot of the classic car shows around here do have neck issues keeping their nose in the air.

I did go to the NPD Silver Springs Mustang & Ford Round-up this weekend... nice gathering and it were way more modified than pure stock cars there, which was nice to see. That said, there wasn't one of what I'd call a proper pro-touring type car there... they always seemed to come up just shy of having the total package. But it's never bad to get a look at a couple real GT40s, Shelbys, Cobras, etc., and there were some very cool vintage drag, circle/dirt track, and even pro-street cars there.

Hey was up Miami in da house woof woof, I found out about this website this week and I just want to thank everyone who has been helping me out and giving me great advice like jy211, hivewax, dadtojays and wills55(your my boy blue) lol. Well I am restoring a 67 chevelle this is my first build and some how some way became a frame off resto I don't know how the hell. But its ok I am happy. So anyways I am searching for any engine builder in south florida. I have met with a few locals and I like keeping my options open and I rather deal with someone that someone on this forum has dealt with or know someone that they have dealt with. I did want to build my own motor but honestly I don't have the time to do it. Hivewax I keep your guy in mind but I rather deal with someone that specializes in building engines. But thank you for the recommendation. I heard your engine on your video and it sounds great. So people let me know I live in Miami and I rather stay local but South Florida is as far as I am willing to travel. Thanks once again.

What's up Blazed? If you were to take Bruce B. Downs to Cross Creek and make that right at the McDonalds on Cross Creek, I live right next to that Shell gas Station on your left just across from the middle school.

By the way, I just checked out your firebird it's looking good...you're making me wish I'd gone with a convertible myself.
