I've got a buddy in Rock Hill SC that notches the back corners to clear the offset shackles. He has pictures on his website. www.mikescustomcars.com

I think those offset shackles are Speed Tech, but they are other manufacturers out there. I bought Speed Tech's because they were less expensive.

I was out looking at the tank situation ( still in car). It appears if I move the springs they will make contact with the tank along the length of the tank.

Any ideas if the Ventura/Nova clearances are different than the 67-9 Camaro firebird?

I bought Speed Tech shackles last year for $156, they are $191 now.
DSE are $275, even with a GP I think the SP are cost less.

I'm interested in a jig also, is it the one that is listed in the camaro restoration parts list the one you bought? Or something else. I need the basic stand plus the stuff to locate rear frame rails, trunk and quarters.

You can see the jig in the project update on the 2nd page under 69 camaro pictures. I used the chassis manual to get the height of frame rails, but he can add those to the jig for extra fee. The jig has dowel pins that align the lower firewall to holes in framerails.
