      Flywheels

      Can anyone tell me about flywheels for LS engines? Manual trans. Are they the same through the years? LQ4, LQ9, LS1? What dia clutch?

      I'm using a Hays flywheel on my 6.0 truck motor with a 11" Hays clutch.I pretty sure the LS series engines all use the same flywheel.

      Yeah, all LSx engines are internally balanced and share the same flywheel.

      I've got a used Fidenza aluminum flywheel lying around the house if somebody wants it.

      I'm running the McLeod billet aluminum FW.. weighs about half of the steel one (around 15lbs.)
