There's only one pic you need and that's of SW's 73 TA. The epitome of sweetness.

Actually Bandit, I think is his name, has a badass 77 with a IA block pontiac under the hood and TKO600 behind the engine. Car is painted like a bandit too.

Do you have any pictures of the 73 TA? Or a link to guide me there? I've only seen small pictures of Bandit's car. I hope he comes in here and posts some bigger pics.

My 68 right after purchase last fall, trying to make it presentable. Currently in a million pieces under construction. Hopefully be done this spring. Hated the color when I bought it, but now actually planning on going with the same paint scheme minus the stripes.

BEEBE: What color blue is that? Is that the lucern blue? Is that a real Formula or a clone?

Cars look good guys. Keep the pictures coming.

Here are some pics of my 74. These were taken a few days before the motor went.

I will get pics of the 71 when I can pull out from behind the garage.

Bandit- PRESENT! (Well one of them anyway)
My TA is an '80 SE w/ big block Chevy and TKO tranny, were you talking about mine or a different car that's a '77? 'Cause mine isn't even painted like a bandit TA right now, it's just black. I am not too worried about keeping originality, in fact if I keep it up I'm going to have to name it something else 'cause it won't look anything like the Smokey and the Bandit car!

Hey check it out though guys, I have updated my garage with all full size pics. Also, I have a butt ton of pics, including some tech info, at my 2 sites so check 'em out! I am not able to post my pics directly on this post like the dude above me, due to a serious technological impairment from which I have suffered for years. (If anyone can tell me how to link my cardomain site to here, shoot me a PM or something and I'd appreciate it.)

I also want everyone's honest opinion about my rim choice--a little radical for this car I realize, 18" Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dogs. I like 'em more and more every day, especially in the twisties! Just want to know how you think they look. So sign my guestbook(s) or shoot me an email or whatever.
      Peace!

Just getting started on my bird. After having it sandblasted, we have basically decided to re-skin the entire shell including floors, trunk, cowl, roof, quarters, inners, and rockers.

So here is an ugly pick taken at the media blasters:

This pic is a little prettier. 525hp 455...

Here is mine. It is a 98 WS6 Formula with 10,800 original miles on it. 520 HP, with full handling suspension upgrades, and 12-bolt rearend with 4.10 gears. It went 11.6 in the 1/4 on motor. I'm currently building a forged 348ci setup and Procharger D1SC for it, looking for 750 HP soon...

WhiteG240 - You are correct on the paint, stock color resprayed in 1993.

And yes she is not a formula , just a formula hood.

When I purchased the car she had a cowlmaro hood and i thought the formula hood looks more correct.

Since the purchase , Ive also swapped the seats, installed a new Tomahawk intake, Mark VIII Ele. Fan , New Wheels/ Tires, and all kinds of other little detail and minor changes to make her mine.

The formula hood pictures, rims 18x8 Weld Draglite XP, 255/45/18 all four

Here is a few shots of my last 72 bird.

I sold her a few years back to fund the blue 72.
