      My '69 Firebird 400 4-speed project car.

Still wearing the original Palladium Silver paint and 99.99% rust free, no panel replacement needed for this one. Numbers-matching original drivetrain still intact, CA black plates too.

They are BMW wheels. If you will do a search of the wheels forum for BMW all of the info is there.

      Jeremy,

I know you've probably listed this before, but what springs are you running on your car (brand name, e.g. Hotchkis, etc., drop, and rate).

Also what size tires are you running?

Your car has a great stance.

In the pics I was running factory ws6 springs up front that I am pretty sure had set a long time ago. The top of the front fender arch at that time was 27 inches. The rears are 4 leaf ws6 springs.

Now I am running VBP setup up front and will be duplicating the ride height when the new shocks and a arms come in. Right now I am 3/8 higher on the front to give the shocks more room before they bottom out.

The tires are 275/40/17 goodyears front and rear. The wheels are 8.5 wide and no rubbing whatsoever.

The T/A hood is a big improvement, scoops upfront and some weight reducing.

Man I shouldn't have looked at this thread again. Every time I do it makes me want to spend all my money on my 79. I love the second gens so much.

For those that don't know, the formula454 site is run by a guy who used to be on this site. yody was his screen name if you want to try and find posts he made. his website covers pretty much everything he did. It's an awesome car.
