Here's where we are at now with Brian Monaco bringing it to life for us. Pretty close now. It's going to be 2021 Corvette pearl mist red. More to come shortly.

Is that an SLP ZL1 heat extractor integrated into the hood?

It is an 5th Gen SS hood vent, fits really well, the rain drain is just in front of the accessory drive between the radiator.

PS - you have good attention to detail

Thanks. I had the exact same idea in mind for my '68, so I guess it caught my eye. Would you mind sharing another, more direct view of it mounted on the hood? Assume you're running the low profile passenger car intake? I'm planning on staying with the truck, but that might not allow the fitment extractor (assuming LS swap).

Absolutely, I see you are very active on the forum which is great.

I am running a Roadster shop chassis and LS3 with stock manifold. The RS chassis lowers the engine about 2 inches. If you have not driven a RS chassis conversion, it is an amazing transformation. More work than the 40 mins it took to bolt it on but worth it.

Sweet build! Which RS chassis did you use? The SPEC?

      Hi

Thanks for the feedback, it is a SPEC RS chassis, ordered to support LS. It drives like new car, really happy with it.

Is there a GM part number for this? I have something else in mind for it...
