Don't know if they've been posted already in this thread but I found some great pics today of SW's 1973 455 5 speed, tweaked by DSE of course. The link has a whole slew of pics of that car's resto and the mods.

      Wheels used before the mini-tubbing.

This is the 3rd set of wheels I've seen it in...also before the mini-tubbing.

Those designers nailed the 1970-73's. Clean lines, timeless. Makes me (and a few million other folks probably) want to build one, a red '70-73 with an all-aluminum 455 Poncho, 6 speed, DSE 2nd gen treatment but fitted with a C6 based IFS/IRS.

I think these 3 are the best of the rest that I have...
What I like about the owners' site is that images are quality and big.

      Agreed.

      They sure are rare beasts.

And they should be built to be badd and to be tracked.

I'm almost ashamed to post my car after seeing the 73 above, but here it goes. It is still in the "pro-nothing" stage

Here is the board I got the pic from - its on the first page of this thread. It is quite old, so lots of the post pics have been deleted elsewhere.

It's in all French though and I can't read a dang thing
