      I am having a hell of a time with the starter on my '69 Camaro. I've changed it 5 times and it keeps grinding. I'm wondering if this is a flywheel issue? I've got a gen 1 small block and a LS T56. Using the McLeod adapter plate with orig bell housing. What flywheel do I need? Thanks in advance.

      What does it takes to modify C5 corvette rear axle mounted T56 to standard f-body ls1 model?
      Or is it even possible?

      It's possible, but if you have to buy all the parts for the conversion it will cost just as much as just buying a regular RWD version of the T56 ready to put in. The Corvette T56 transaxle shares very few parts in common with a normal F-Body T56.
