11-18-2007 #43Man... all I can say is buy your wheels, and keep them in a place where you can see them. Then start going to some of these events... you'll get motivated.
Oh... and get a side job. *LOL*

How wide are your rear wheels? I've had my eye on a set of those ZR1's some have 11" wide rear wheels. Yours really look good. I was wondering if I would have to notch my frame as well with a set of those. Thanks.
11-22-2007 #45Yeah, the back ones are the 11" wide wheels from AFS wheels and are wearing 315's. We did have to notch the frame and the rear end is not the stock size (I can't remember off the top of my head what size it is, but I can look it up).
You can see the notched frame in this picture:
It's not the best shot though... I'm hoping to push it out of the garage tomorrow if it's not raining and take some better pictures of it. I'll pop the wheel off and get a better angle on the rear frame rail so you can see it.

11-23-2007 #46Well... for whatever reason I've misplaced my tire iron, so I couldn't pull the wheel off , but I did take some more pictures of it.
This picture is from inside the car:
And this one is from inside the trunk looking at the same tire:
The plan is to box all that in on the next go around.
I know you have to minitub it to get those tires in there, but you might not HAVE to notch the frame. I really wanted to tuck the wheels and tires in, so that's why we did it. The articles about Mark Stielow's 'Red Witch' don't mention that he notched his, but from the pictures I've seen of it, mine seem to sit in a little more than his did.
