      LS Motor and TH-200-4R Trans

Okay, I couldn't find anything on this so for the sake of sounding ignorant I'll post this one...
I'm Thinking about putting an LS-1 in my 71 Chevelle(or cast iron Equiv)
I've notice all the installs use either the 4-L60E or a 5 or 6 speed that came with there donor motor, but what about mating one to a built Th-200-4R. I have a fresh one in my car now and would like to continue using it when I do the LS swap. Any input would be great. Don't get me wrong, I like the Idea of rowing gears on a Mountain road, but I got the car already set up with a great trans.

I believe bowtieoverdrives has the tv cables and brackets for that setup too.
72 Nova SS, on the back burner for now.

'70 Impala 4drht, 26K original miles, 2" drop springs and large swaybars, drives pretty good for a land yahct in the middle of an ls1 swap, but thinking about changing directions to a duramax diesel swap.

That's great to hear. I was pretty sure of it, but thought I'd ask since the LSX motors computer controls the shift on the automatic. I have a few freinds looking out for one and if I just need the engine thats all the cheaper.
