      how much does a small block weigh?

      how much does the average mild small block chevy thats set up for the street weigh? im thinking a motor that has iron heads, but has an aluminum intake ect...

      Is that weight for an iron headed small block correct? I would think in the fives? Actually World has their new all aluminum SBC listed at 430lb's or something close???

      575 lbs according to this list. Doesn't sound quite right but when comparing to others it may be.
