71 Camaro RS update 27th February 2014 with vids

Did some work tonight and just had to show it... didn't have time to update my page yet but will try to do so soon.

Had my manifold and valve covers powdercoated and mounted them today. Also testfitted my ceramic coated headers....LOVE them!

      See attached pic.

A bit Slow Allen.....my family, work and the house take up a lot of time...I am nearly finished with applying the sound deadening in the interior...then the airco must go in..and new wiring...andd..and and and...

      Great going Martin.

I was planning to pay you a visit (or @ least give you a call) since I was about 6-8 weeks (for my job) in your neigbourhood. Unfortunately I had an accident (@ work) and will not be returning to that place since the recovery will take at least 6-8 weeks.

Nevertheless, great progress, keep going and don't forget your family in the mean time (a lesson I learned the hard way).

Thanks guys! I decided to take the afternoon off since it was a nice and sunny day (rare here this time of year) and POR'd the rear axle. Feels great to finally make some real progress again.

The reason my project is taking so long is that I do spend time with the family...so I can see your point Rene. (next time you are in the neighbourhood let me know..)

      Martin,

Glad to see your project is moving forward. I hope to be back in 34 months (hopefully less), so I expect to see you and your car at the SNC in Den Haag. By the way, I fly to Texas to get my car from the port this Friday. I hope all goes well, as I am picking it up on Friday the 13th.

      It was actually sunny?

34 months.... that should be do-able. I am aiming for next summer but time will tell if I make that.

sunny and around 20degrees! and the weekend is supposed to be similar...(but I have 3 birthday parties to attend...so no wrenching)

Friday the 13th... so what...turn up the boost again and "fly"home (safely though)

Dat is klopt Martin! The boost will get turned back up and I'll enjoy the low level flight through Texas into Albuquerque.

Love the Technocarb, haven't seen it b4.

And you have to tell me about the guy selling the Red tops. . . .
