i'm making some progress on my 69 convertible also

you guys might remember seeing this car a while back . it was a running and driving car . i was going to wait a while to strt this car . but then the tranny started leaking . i pulled it out and it turned out it had a crack in the case . i did not want to put any money into it so i left it sit . in a day or so i ended up selling the motor out if it .

so there it sits staring at me everyday i walk into the shop . so here we go . i started to disassemble it and now its on the rotiserre . i had the firewall and underneath sand blasted last week , i smoothed the subframe last week also . now we are starting the firewall this week and underside .

my plan is to completely finish the firewall and paint the underside . assemble all of the suspension front and rear and the motor on to the subframe . then the exterior will be done . i will keep you all updated !

You may have reached your attachment limit, but I think you should be able to upload more than 3 pics. Let me try and figure it out.

P.S. Moving this to project update forum.

It's more than three pics - there's three in the Mustang thread as well.

What IS the attachment limit? I guess six large JPGs could be over a meg, if that's the limit.

1 meg is the limit, but there is no limit on how many you can attach, well that is until you reach the size limit.

You either need to remove the old pics, or you can become a subscribed member, in which case you have more storage to post pics.

Or store your pics on the net and link to them..

      Cool!

Tell me more about your hidden brakes.

      I highlighted mine at:

      http://www.mcspeed.homestead.com/69_...urrection.html

Still on the fence with it.

Sounds like we are on the same track.

I am just now finishing the truck bed coating that is on the belly, floor, ceiling, under dash, and the entire inside of the trunk.

No weight savings here. I will have over four gallons of bed liner material sprayed on this by the time I am done!

I am going to tear back into my firewall and redo some of it in the next couple of weeks.

      Datsbad,
Sorry I havent been back to Pro-Touring in while. Just been busy with the new mustang and took a few day vacation.
Try these 2 things to get your pics posted. You have my number too can call if you need more help.
      A) You can right click on each pic then copy the property line and paste it here on the site. That will show individual pics.
      B) Copy the web address at the top of the page and this will show all the cars on that page.
