      You wanna look into a neat, ALTHO 100 percent obsolete auto tranny, look into the old '56/'57 Olds 4-speed Hydro that started us on the way to hi-po- auto trannies!!

      Sucker had a fluid coupling on it instead of a converter, BUT it did have 4-gears!!

      And Studes had air cooled 3-speeds in them that used engine oil as ATF.
