My autorama images 56k no way

Mostly from personal preference. Got some good shots considering I hate using a flash so I shoot natural light. Hope you like them

      Kevin.

Those are some GREAT shots. Are you a professional photographer??

What kind of camera are you using?

      Thanks for the compliment Josh!

I started shooting pictures for work about a year ago and consider myself an amatuer. As the saying goes we learn through repetition!

I also may offer shooting vehicles on the side this summer for the Michigan boys with some decent packages including prints or albums and stuff.

I use a Canon Rebel XT 8.1 mp SLR with the kit 18-55 lense.
Mostly it just takes the right setting and a steady hand. Tri-pods are kind of bulky to carry around a big show.

Finishing wise those are pretty much straight from the camera with a little cropping and blurring the backgrounds a bit to make the cars the focal point. I also use a little unsharp mask to sharpen the image a little bit once I resize them.

I agree those are some excellent shots. Whatever you paid for that camera was well worth it.

Some of the cars almost look like toys in those shots. Very nice.

      Thanks for the pics, Kevin.

All of those cars are awesome, but this one is a personal favorite:

Anyone have any details on the car?

^^^I was thinking the same thing. That thing is NICE! Talk about a break from the norm too. I also love that shot of the 37 Ford Roadster. Very beautiful.

Hey Ralph, That car was built for someone at Ford I believe and is also one of my favorite builds within the last few years. It debuted at Sema 05 and is powered by a injected 4 cylinder engine and uses a rack and pinion up front. I have a couple more shots of it and will post em up today.

Thanks for the compliments on my shots guys

      I have one rant though~~~

I can honestly say I hate my BRAND NEW 7.1MP Canon SD550 and it's ALL YOUR FAULT!!
I thought it took awesome pictures, but now I'm going to have to go buy an SLR!
Your pictures really are top notch, and your "amature" skills are underated!

Lol, sorry dude. You can pick up a Rebel with the kit lense for $999.00 but with some time and practice you can do pretty good with that little SD. The MP size really only gives you large print possibility. Better quality comes down to the lense and other features.

Here are the rest of the little black Roadster. Man I'm so in love with this car.

      Thanks dude,

I snapped around 300 that day and have yet to weed out all the keepers.

I should have some time today to go through and see what else I have and I'll make this thread HUGE!

Alot of my other pics are detail shots of certain pieces and may not contain the whole vehicle.
