Dont know where to put this.. Fiberglass Fab supplies?

I cant use Fiberglass resin at my house becuse of the fumes. I was told there is an epoxy substitute that works just as wel with no crazy odors. And is used with the Fiberglass mat same as the resin.

What is it and where can I find it?? Thanks

If you Move this please PM me and tell me where it is.

Not sure if they have what you are looking for but I guess its worth a look:

      www.fiberglast.com

I believe they have an online forum that might be able to help.

I'd also be interested in a resin without fumes. I have space use resin but would prefer not to.

Shawn, In addition to a serious pro touring addiction, I also build large scale (1/4) R/C warbirds. Most of them are built up from either wood or fiberglass and I usually end up making alot of custom fiberglass parts for them. I have found the West System of epoxy resin to work especially well for the models and other things as well. You can get the epoxy resin in 1 quart cans and it mixes 1:5 with the hardener. They also sell pumps that go on top of the cans so that mixing is easy, one stroke of the resin pump and one stroke of the hardener pump mixed together gives you exactly 1 oz of ready to go epoxy. You can get all the stuff here:

They also sell carbon fiber cloth and other cool stuff.
      Hope this helps,

      Thanks all for the sites.
EVO How strong is the odor from the epoxy resin? Im looking to make some interior parts and with the way my garage is if I spray PB Blaster on parts my house smells like it for weeks.

I will be doing it in the winter so it will be an issue...

Shawn, I think you will be pleasantly suprised on the odor of the West Systems epoxy. It is not polyester epoxy which stinks like bondo but is true epoxy. Have you ever used regular 30 min craft epoxy to glue something together? This stuff has LESS odor than that. I have a wife with a VERY sensitive nose and the West epoxy doesnt bother her at all. For sure it will not be near as offending as polyester epoxy. It still has some smell but it definately will not stink up the house or garage.
