Wow did I really spend that much on parts!!

Well I am in what I call the final stages of my build up of my PT 69 Camaro. Body work is done, subframe is in, subframe connectors welded in, Mini tubs installed, and ready for paint. So I ahd to get busy getting the remaining parts on order and after its all said and done as I sit here getting ready to send out all these Money orders, I realized "I'm crazy"!! I haev spent a huge amount of cash today. But when everything gets here I'll have everything needed to finish the car. Here is overview of what all was done

      Today:

      Intro Wheels:
Received word my V-rod 5's are shipping today, luckily they were already payed for. Ordered 18x8 , 5" BS and 18x12 5.75BS

      Barrons Tire:
Michelin Pilot Sports 245/40/18 and 335/30/18

      DSE:
-DSE Speed Kit 1 front suspension
      -DSE 091001 Power Steering pump
      -DSE pulley
      -DSE hoses
      -DSE Steering box
      -DSE narrowed tank
      -Koni Rear shocks

      Moser:
Narrowed 9", Aluminum case, 4.11 gear, Detroit Tru trac, fill and drain plus, 31 spline axles, Wilwood brakes with parking brake

      Classic Chevy 5 speed:
TKO 600 with shifter, pedals, and linkage

      Ricks First Gen:
      -Firewall Guard
      -Sill plates
      -Console Kit
      -Sport Comp Cluster with Guages
      -Front seat foam
      -Weather strip kit
      -Deluxe interior kit

All in all I am in at aroudn $10g's. Most money I haev ever spent at one time besides buying my house and truck. Still got to buy headers, front brakes, radiator and some misc stuff. I guess its only money its not like I can take it with me

It's best to just put those thoughts out of your head.. If you start to think about how much this hobby costs you will soon be needing counseling..

Ten G's goes pretty fast.. almost scary fast..

I know the feeling man. I spend that much on drugs and women a year , j/k. I had to get my own bank account, My wife would trip over the amount of cash I was spending. Glad to hear the project is coming along

yeah it does, but its all worth it.

Got most of the front sheetmetal hung for the first time last night. Nice to see what it will finally look like. I am really impressed with the Goodmark 4" cowl hood, looks mean!!
