      gen7 question

to start off motor is a chevy 383...i have a gen7 steup(calmap v4) and i am trying to tune the ve table...my question is when i run a datalog and i go back to review it,there are some points on the log i can't seem to tune..for example, when vacum is say 9psi i can't seem to take any more fuel out of the ve table...i already have it as low as it will go(.100)and its still real rich..the ve table only goes as low as 13.44..i tried to adjust it to read lower but calmap tells me that the value is out of range and it also says i can't scale the first value in the map axis...is there another table that can be adjusted to solve the problem??i would appreciate any feedback...
      thanks,mike

      ps..injectors are 30lb/hr

I assume you have a wideband. You need to set up your commanded afr table first. Then tune the ve table. The computer is automatically adding more or less fuel when in closed loop. Start with 13.5-14.7 accross the board, in the last 3 columns of the afr table, taper it down to about 12:1 and start from there. Hope this gets you started!

Do you have the injector size, etc. in config correctly? What fuel pressure are you running?

What is you afr at idle. Those are tiny injectors, you should not have a problem. In closed loop at idle, how many percent of fuel is it adding or subtracting?
