      where to mount fuel pump

      i have a holley blue electric fuel pump, problem is its larger then i expected and am not sure where i can mount it. this is on a 67 camaro with mini tub and dse/rock valley tank. thanks for the help.

      Wherever you mount it, you want to make sure it's below the tank height and as close to the tank as possible otherwise you'll over work the pump. I had a 67 with a blue mounted up in the trunk because I thought I was clever and it very quickly developed a leak from the gasket. Then, the bypass spring stuck open. Good luck!!

      i think im gonna mount it to the back side if the rear seat pan. it will be protected there, and away from the exhaust pipes. it is at leas level with the fuel tank if not a little below. worse comes to worse i will mount it somewhere else.
