He was asking about Subframe connectors. The one's that we build do not fit a convertible car due to floor bracing in different locations than a hard top car. The subframe itself will work just fine.

For an LS, the Ultimate's fit the best by far.

We have also fit up Speed Engineering but I have seen some the consistency vary a little on those and took some taps with a hammer. The Hooker Blackheart's are a no-go, the second tube on the driver's side occupies the same place as the steering shaft does. I'm positive there are other longtubes that fit but there are so many options now it's hard to try them all. A mid-length is also an option as they're all more of a "swept back" design.

The headers could potentially be modified, however, it'd be easier to change to a set that fits (Ultimate, a mid length set, etc).

The subframe connectors on a convertible are will not work. If you bought them through a dealer of ours, you can set up a return with them and get your money back as long as they're new in the box. Our dealers should know they don't fit (it's also notated on the website).

As of today, these are the part numbers that I know will work for LS and SBC engines:

      LS engine:
      Ultimate Headers (longtube) 102121
      Speed Engineering (longtube) 25-1027

      Small Block Chevy:
      Flowtech (mid length) 31108FLT
      Flowtech (longtube) 11100FLT
      Hedman (longtube) 68270
      Hooker (longtube) 2451HKR

As we validate more fitments, I'll try to keep you all updated.

What modifications would have to be made to use a stock style z-bar set up?
      Is it even feasible?
