General question about splash flaps on front control arms

Are you using them on your vehicle?

I really don't plan on driving my convertible through the rain but things happen and I'm at the point in the paint process where I can add them or not.

I added them to my inner fenders recently. Not so much for mud and water but also dust and road debris. Instead of doing the staples in the steel fender though I just drilled out some holes and used the modern plastic push pin style trim fasteners with wide heads to hold the rubber flaps in place.

I rarely see them on high end builds.
