Touring Classic Brakes

Circa 2008 (maybe, more or less) I bought a set of the forged aluminum uprights from... Was the company name AFX? I can't seem to remember- anyway, it was the place that did the original design of the spindle forging. Bought a set for a G body project, that turned into a A body project that turned into a sordid rusting smashed on all panels money pit that got parted out. Over the course of several years and relocations

So I'm going thru boxes of stuff (I've moved twice) preparing for a swap meet in Portland this weekend, and I find the uprights, along with a set of caliper and rotors identified as Touring CLassic. I can vaguely remember talking to the guy that sold me the uprights about brakes, and me getting them, but I don't know any details about these Touring Classic brakes.

Any pointers or information from someone familiar with them?

Not planning on parting with the stuff right now- but want to get my head around these touring classic rotors and calipers

I was friends with the guys who did Touring Classic brakes (Jonathan and Noel) They did team up on design with AFX spindles (Tito?)

From what I remember they were using late model Corvette brakes and cnc’d their own brackets to fit with stock or AFX spindles/hubs. It was a lot like what Baer was doing with PBR calipers but they were less expensive.

It looks like they use the Corvette type abutment casting to screw directly to the upright. but what threw me was the name was etched into the caliper

I believe you are quite right. Been so long since I heard the name, went brain dead writing the first post.

ATS sold the spindle design to Speedtech Performance.

I get that I had AFX and ATS screwed up. But the point of the original question was information about Touring Classic brakes that I bought at the same time as the spindles. I know nothing about the brakes, am fishing for information on those.

If I recall it simply was C5 or C6 brakes
