Will Rick's Restomod 67-68 Camaro/68-74 Nova fuel tank fit a 1969 Camaro
Your probably asking yourself "why not just buy a 1969 Camaro RestoMod fuel tank, Right?" Well, I have been watching Summit.com and Rick's tank site for several weeks as well as calling both. Summit only list the 46091 tank with the Rick's fuel pump hat and shows a moving date of 4 weeks out and that it ships directly from manufacturer. So, I called Rick's and the person who answered the phone seemed bothered that I called and asked and said it was up to the owner if they get anymore 1969 Camaro Restomod tanks. BTW, there is no listing on the Rick's tank website anymore for the 1969 Camaro. So, I was contemplating using a 67-68 Camaro tank or the 68-74 Nova tank but the fuel inlet is located in different spots on each tank. I would rather not move the fuel fill on my 1969 Camaro to between the taillights since I do not have a recess in the panel. Has anyone been able to fit one of these tanks and modify the fuel inlet with rubber angled tubing or welding?
1969 Camaro
Fuel fill is centered and angled at ~45 degrees angle
67-68 Camaro
Fuel Fill is offset to passenger side and at ~60 degree angle
68-74 Nova
Fuel fill is centered and at ~0-10 degree angle
I really wanted to run a ZL1 pump with a vaporworx pwm controller. It seems the only other option is Rick's stainless tank with a 3 month build time.
Any thoughts?

Some work involved to get the right angle and cap flange.

I purchased a 69 one from here, they have a few 67-68's complete for a good deal. Just add your pump.
