2nd Gen F body Max front and rear wheel/tire combo

What’s the max rear and front wheel/tire combo you can run on a 2nd gen F body? Replacing the front and rear suspension and mini tubing.

My 70 is mini tubbed with a DSE spec 9" and a DSE front sub frame. I'm in the middle of ordering wheels, 18x12 rear with a 335/30-18 and a 18x10 with a 275 tire up front.

Stock leaf springs will fit 315 tires. Tubing and custom suspension is a lot money but you should be able to fit 335.

With a stock subframe, some guys fit 315 tires using PTFB lower control arms that have adjustable steering stops. Basically, if you reduce turning radius, you can run a 315.

On a firebird we generally can run 315 squared but if you have mini tubs you can step up to 335s on the rear.

BTW you just stated "2nd Gen F-body" is it a Camaro or Firebird? there are big differences between the two.

You guys say a 315 will fit with leaf springs but no mention of wheel diameter and back spacing.

      input would be greatly appreciated.

It's implied that only 315/35-17 or 315/30-18s can be used as they are 25.5" tall there is no other 315 that is relevant.
The other part of the equation that I asked be received no answer to is if the car is a Camaro or a Firebird? That question needs to be answered first,, just saying 2nd gen is not enough.

I just posted about this moments ago, scrolled down, and saw someone just asked a similar question. I have 19x11s on the front of my 1977 trans am. 325 tires. What are the negative effects of this going to be? The car will mainly be street driven to the tune of 99.9%. I know scrub radius will have increased because I had to push the extra meat out. I'm on a stock subframe with speedtech street fighter modifications.
