      Killer progress! Thanks for sharing!

If you’re suggesting sending men with weapons of war to take my weapons of war, then I’m fairly certain that’s what’s called an act of war… and the definition of tyranny.which coincidentally is the reason for the second amendment to begin with!

Worked on the rear seat and trunk area. Got the rear seat area welded up now and the top piece in also. The fuel can be moved and fits in rather nicely, I'll have a removable cover plate but I need to do the fuel system first.

Got the front end mostly back on the car, first time the hood has been on in..... 10yrs cough.. But it fits over the engine and she's looking good, I'll have to make a custom grill original melted, also its sucks about the paint I really liked this color cream white with pearl flakes.. But I got the engine fitted back in so I'm getting ready to fab up the intake manifold. I'll be making an oil catch can and coolant tanks built into the fender area. Then more parts came oooowwwweee. the oiling system and intercooler.

The oil system will consist of 10an nylon hose, remote filter, oil cooler, and an accu sump. The turbo will be fed by a 4an stainless line and a 10an stainless drain.

The intercooler is here so now I'm waiting on the tube order to come in the start fitment.

The next big job will be the intake, could buy one but why not just build one.... which is what I'm gonna do. Originally I was just going to buy one but then I saw a dual plenum intake manifold and down that rabbit hole I went and now I'm going to build one.

Well its been a while but work has continued, This build is taking a long time lol, burnout is real but you gotta push forward and make yourself get in that garage sometimes. So what have I done well I got burnt out on the sheet metal work not my favorite but, I mounted the radiator, intercooler and oil system parts cooler, filter and I'm still trying to find a place for the accumulator. Switched over to the intake to make sure everything would fit up and clear the firewall. Also started on the intake and cold side piping, aluminum welding is a different beast all together but I did get the hang of it after a couple practice pieces also tried out different material prep methods on the intake vs the cold side going to the intercooler, I'm not really a fan of the pie cuts on the cold side but I'll remake it later. Got the majority of the intake pieces cutout and mock fitted. I'll go more in depth on the intake design in another post. I then moved back to the sheet metal..... reluctantly fabbed up the wheel wells, and the trunk pan the two cutouts in the trunk will be storage boxes but I haven't decided steel or aluminum yet. The fuel cell will still need its top cover but I ran out of sheet metal. I welded up the underneath with stich welds added some 1/4 jack plates to the corners then Double and triple checked the the entire car looked for pinholes. missed welds, holes , etc. finally got everything finished up, flipped her on the side and started primer underneath. I decided to not spray line the underneath because I will have to drill some holes and probably weld more things on. So went with some tractor paint from the farm store cheap, easy to touch up and holds up very well. Next up will be painting all the suspension parts and get ready for assembly I hope. Still got a long road ahead and many late nights but I'm trying to get it ready for the summer most likely wont make it but I'm gonna try.
