Two coats of primer and two coats of the brightest white gloss paint that I could find.

You don’t fool around, do you? . Great progress.

Are you going to insulate and finish the ceiling?

The ceiling attic insulation is up and we built a cover for the zillion wires running across the ceiling.

I decided not to mess with the high voltage DC line for the solar panels. The previous owners let the solar panel company take the shortest route which is the worst route for me. I will tighten it up and I may cover it some day.

After the insulation was installed we covered it with a foil. It’s bright white on one side and aluminized on the other.

It’s also perforated to allow moisture to pass through it.

      I ordered a roll from https://atticfoil.com/ and

We made good progress on the new Pro-Touring.com Garage / Studio.

This is what it looked like at the end of day 1

      And the lights are up.

I hung six 2' lights and two 4' lights.

I ordered them from Prime Lights and I bought the dimmable versions.

      https://www.primelights.com/

If it's dark outside and you walk into the garage with the lights on full brightness it's downright overwhelming. It's near painful in fact.

Sorry the videos are lagging behind.

The new Pro-Touring.com Garage / Studio has been gutted and cleaned up a bit. All of the drywall is out and we are ready to start over.

So, I did my first big job in the garage.

I learned a few things. The biggest was that I don't have enough grit in the clear coat. We had a few days to get a friends Impala back on the road after sitting for 23 or so years.

At one point there were six of us all working at the same time. It was raining, there was coolant, oil and PS steering fluid as well as maybe 40 years of brake dust and junk.

It's was downright dangerous to walk around quickly.

Also once the job was complete and cleaned up the solid grey floor looked like it has been used and abused for years. There are small black scuff marks everywhere that are nearly impossible to make go away.

So, I am having the floor guy return to do a light sanding of the floor, add some black and white flakes and to add another clear coat with more grit in it.
