Modern rear view mirror for 69 Camaro Convertible
Looking for the following capabilities in a modern rear view mirror for my next project.
Windshield mounted
Map lights
Auto dim
Compass
Temperature
Garage door opener ( I believe it’s called “homelink”)
Although the compass & temperature are nice but they are not a necessity

Hit up the junkyard for a mirror from a (iirc a gmt900, gmt800 maybe too) Tahoe/suburban/Silverado

We sell this mirror for 2nd gen Camaros/Firebirds, in addition to auto dimming it also has reverse camera. When your reverse lights come on the camera gets power and comes on displaying the image on the mirror. Has everything you mentioned except lights, compass, temp and homelink. Dakota Digital gauges have the compass and temp as part of their GPS speedometer sensor. I have the mirror in a 2nd gen and like it much better than my 1st gen mirror, also using the Dakota Digital GPS which works great (hasn't lost signal yet, under tunnels and all)
