      Cooling Setup question.

I am planning on doing a lot of wring upgrades to my 67 Camaro this winter. First one being the Northern radiator pwm fan controller #z18350. My question is would it be wise to use a 180 degree sensor on my setup? reason I'm asking is because I have a 185 degree thermostat in my LS1 currently. Would it be more efficient to use they're 190 degree sensor?

      thanks albert

I can tell you that a factory new car, (Camaro). the cooling fan comes on around 215 degrees. and turns off around 195 - 200 degrees. unless the a/c is on, then the fans run all the time. ls motor with fuel injection should run around 205 - 210 degrees. and that's for best fuel economy and emissions. i hope this helps
