      Sniper Coughing

I have a Sniper install on my SBC and running the return line as per instructions. Sometimes when I take off from a dead start it will cough, I’ve replaced the spark plug wires a routed them so they’re not in contact with each other.

Any ideas as to what’s causing this?

Hard to say without more info. Could be ignition timing related are you using the ignition control feature?

I’m thinking that to, I’m using the stock large cap distributer, haven’t done anything as far as locking the vacuum advance. I am thinking of of installing their Hyperspark ignition as it looks like a drop in install
