      Pinion angle

      Please tell me the pinion angle of my 70 Camaro.

      Speed ​​tech torque arm for ls1 and t56.

      Transmission is 2 Degrees↓

      Drive shaft up rear end

      The differential is 2 degrees up↑




      Since the differential position is above the transmission, there is vibration in the noise. Please tell me the answer.

      Hey I’m going through setting my driveline angles now too.

      What is the angle of the drive shaft? This will help you find the u joint working angles and you can go from there. Spicer has a pretty handy free app that will help calculate this for you

      Ok I put your numbers into the spicer app and it shows operating angle 1 at 3 deg and operating angle 2 at 1 deg. Ideally you would want these numbers to be within 1 deg from each other. If you’re experiencing vibration it sounds like an adjustment is needed. Are you able to adjust either pinion angle?

      The differential can be in tune. The transmission can be lowered a little.

      I think you want to raise the transmission as high as you can get it. At least that is my strategy when the pinion is higher than the transmission.

      As Don mentioned, raising the trans would help. If you could raise it so that the trans sits at 1deg down instead of 2deg down, it would get your operating angles within 1 deg.

      Also, I noticed your angles are in whole numbers. Are you using a measuring device that has resolution of 0.1 deg increments? The fractions will make a difference in calculating your operating angles

      I processed the tunnel and raised the engine and transmission. The pinion is above the transformer. "Is the angle correct?"
