      18x10 No Tub

Hello, I had some custom wheels made and I just put them on only to find out that they may rub. 2 inch lowered in front and 2 3/4 lowered in the rear with leaf springs. The wheels are 18x10 with 5.75” backspacing and I don’t have the lips rolled or trimmed and I’m running wheel opening moldings which I specifically told the wheel company. I have a Mickey Thompson street comp 295/35/18 tire which they ensured will fit but I can’t even get my hand to fit between the tire and the quarter and if the car hits a good enough bump it will definitely hit. I’ve heard that some people run 275/40/18 with no issues. I’m pretty much stuck with the 295’s and I don't want to keep buying tires for fun. The 295 is only a little more 3/4” wider than the 275 so do you think that’s enough to not rub?

Would be really helpful to know what kind of car you are working on.

Sorry about that. I have a 1969 camaro. I posted the rest of the specs in my first post.
