Wider front wheels on 69 Camaro

      Hi guys.

What does fitting 18 x 9's with 265/275 tyres on there front of a 69 Camaro entail?
I've had a look but can't seem to find the answer i'm looking for.
Is is simply removing the inner front fenders?

If anyone has a BS measurement of wide front and rear 18's on a 69 Camaro, probably 18 x 9's all round.

      Thanks.

i have 265 35 18 on a 18x9 5.25" BS tires are falken rt660 they run fairly wide, wheels are HRE 540. factory inner fender i just use button head bolts just in case. i also run a unisteer rack and full suspension on a stock frame but the rack is the only thing that will change compared to something you might run.

dont have many pics of the new tire set up but this is on 255 35 18 and 285 35 18 Michelin ps4s the rear is now 275 and wider than the 285 ps4s.
very little rubbing at full lock on the frame nothing in real world track/driving.

Sorry guys, I thought no one had replied to this for some reason. Thanks for the replies and pics. Most useful.
Both the vette and the Camaro currently have 17's. We're upgrading both to 18's
I've just bought 265/40/17 and 285/40/18 Michelin Pilots 2nd hand on Ebay. Will also get a pair of 275/40/18's then we can play around on both cars.

Vette will take 275's on the front as i've put the rear tyres from the Camaro on the front before, only minor rubbing at full lock. Camaro will probably use 265's.

Waiting for my house sale to go through before I can order wheels....Name: vette and Camaro.jpg
