      Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06

      Continental makes some great "all-season" performance tires with good wet/dry traction. The Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 has very good performance rankings on TireRack.com and the customer reviews are excellent as well. They are available in 17" sizes up to 255/40/R17 and 255/45/17. The ExtremeContact Sport is another good tire that is available in widths up to 285/40/17 but is a max performance, summer only tire. I have a combination of Sport and the DWS 06 tires in staggered set-up on my Olds 442 convertible: 285/40/18 Sports on the rear and 245/45/18 DWS 06 on the front. The traction is good with a nice ride quality and not too loud on the highway. Here's some links to TireRack.com:
