1968 RS survivor car and a stash of blowers and tunnelrams.

      Hey all...
I was building a PT Camaro over 2 decades ago when business and life got busy.
Fast forward and I'm vacating the shop I built 30 years ago (july 1992 was my opening date) because there's a purchaser with the cash to write me a check, so I'm selling all of my Chevy stuff.
My new place is an undeveloped hillside that I'm building up myself.
Keeping my HUMVEE fleet and stash of motocross hardware...... moving off-road and selling my asphalt hord.
Sold the 2nd gen a while back.
      Keeping my Biscayne.

I could write up a huge description and add tons of pics, but I'd link most of it from my facebook wall but the link addresses are too long......

I had a thread started after I was building the PT car, and I have a crashed computer that I can't retrieve it's pics from.
If there's archives of threads from 22 years ago I'd retrieve it, but not sure about that one.....
Selling the #s matching 68 RS/SS (almost rolling) roller.
C4 vette suspension in the rear,
custom 4X4 square tube frame with Crown Vic cop-car suspension clip (way before Ass Monkey ever hit TV).

MY 68 RS survivor car (the only modification that I made was converting to posi and swapping centerline wheels(#s matching, all factory, no rust)).

e-coated subframe including crossmember, spindles with drums and a-arms. I'll throw in caliper cores and disc-brake brackets.
The complete subframe is the pull-out from my PT project (it goes with the car).

big block parts, blocks and engines.
Venolia aluminum rods and matching Venolia pistons for bored n machined 468
509 casting 400 (406) short-blocks and extra cranks and Skat rods.
      671 blowers and a 471 blower.
Victor Jr and a Scorpion intakes.
      T-10 4 speed and bellhousing
      Saginaw 4 speed and bellhousing
      tunnel-rams and double pumper cores.
Ford 9" with 3.73 (if I remember correctly) and posi
      Chrysler 8.75 w 3.73 and posi
BDS 16-injector bug catcher DFI system
      weld drag stars with slicks
2 sets of 2 different size of drag radials

      A lot to list.
      too much to think of....
land line calls are welcome or personal messages from facebook.
I don't have a cell phone so contact is slightly limited.

I've been away from this forum for about 15 years, but I'll make a point to check messages and feedback here on a daily basis.....

      Thanks all,

it's all on my wall, just have to scroll back (it's all "global")

I have the 5th Centerline as well
The Centerline industry changed ownership and I bought the 5th wheel a week before they all disappeared from future sales.

      68 RS/SS PT car

Had a friend that turned me on to a (the car) lead way back then....
I scrolled through my facebook pics just now and found what I was looking for.

The 4X4 tubing frame has a dry sump in the front tube and has a big single vent/filler for a breather/K&N pod filter.
Crown Vic hubs were drilled to Chevy pattern.
Blocked n primered and Vette wheels with the stock axle and frame.
Other wheels (and 2 tires) are here somewhere (in storage)

Brackets for the IRS were made up and bolted in to where the leaf spring bushings went. Only 2 holes were drilled for 1/2" bolts to retain the rear structure.
By removing mounting bolts to where the original subframe mounted, everything can be dropped out and the factory subframe can be put back in.
Saw'd aluminum pucks from bar stock and spun my own solid bushings.

Idiots and dorks here locally ruined the car scene for me.
There's harley douscebags, ford idiots and Camaro dorks that I don't care to associate with here
so I'm selling off, cashing out and moving on.

A milk crate of 5 Carter 2-jets made up my 6 pack.
Blasted and stripped stock-case 6-71 and a bunch of stuff from Blower Drive Service makes up Biscayne's top half.....
Just to show the potential of my blower cores
that were just like this one was.

Since no 6-pack plates were available for blowers,
like most of my parts, I made it myself
as if it was raced in the 60s (fittings from Ace and True-value instead of Jegs and AN hardware).

If I had a dyno, I could've tuned the DFI fully but couldn't type the laptop, steer the car and mash the gas at the same time.
