      Flywheel and clutch

      I'm thinking of changing the flywheel for the ls1 dart head engine. It is 70 Camaro of about 400ps on the wheel. Please tell me the recommended flywheel clutch. The mission is lt1 t56.       Your current crank most likely has bolts. If you plan to install a Gen 5 LT1, that will have an 8 bolt crank, so they will not be compatible. I would look at a McLeod or Centerforce dual disk.

      Tilton also makes a nice dual disc clutch, the ST-246.

      I like the ST-246 on my car. My crank is 8 bolt, they also have a 6 bolt flywheel.
