68 Camaro RS LED headlights. What did you use?

I'm looking to upgrade to LED headlights on my 1968 Camaro RS/SS. I understand they are a tight fit due to the headlight doors. I'm thinking of using United Pacific p/n 31391. Which LED lights did use and did you have to modify anything? Thanks in advance for your help.

Donít have depth issues but I went with Phillips H6024LED. Big name brand and solid price about $160 apiece.

Was looking at Halleyís but yellow illegible WA and personally didnít want a stock look.

The donít have the yellow in them in real life and just clear. Woulda loved something with clear lows and yellow highs.

Rock Auto has them for $150 ea

I went with JW Speaker 8700 Evo. Took a bit of trimming on the bucket but the lights are high quality and have great output.

How did they fit on your RS? Any fitment issues with the back of the headlight bucket or closing of the headlight doors?

I put them in a 68 Camaro RS with no bucket mods or any issues whatsoever

Napa carries the Phillips LED lights if you wanted a local option.

The Holley Retrobright headlights will fit with no modifications, look totally stock and have much better visibility at night.

We also sell United Pacific headlights, their 31387 will fit if your using the Detroit Speed electric conversion or have stock vacuum operated lights. Some other kits locate the motor directly behind the headlights which can cause problems. We have some pics and more information on our website or your welcome to call me and I can let you know what to look for. Takes about 20-30 min to modify the metal behind the buckets. No issues clearing the RS doors and have a stock look.

We also have buckets, trim rings and hardware for the headlights at the link below:
