      Coolant additives or Waterless coolants ???

      What, if any, high performance coolants or additives have y'all found to be worth the money?
      Just a few i've seen would be and their claims if any;
      Evans Waterless
      Red Line Water Wetter (improves heat transfer and reduces cylinder head temperature)
      Royal Purple Purple Ice
      VP Racing Madditive Cool Down (reduces cylinder head temperatures up to 50 degrees F)
      Lucas Super Coolant (reduce coolant temperatures by up to 20 degrees F)
      DEI Radiator Relief (will reduce the temp as much as 30 degrees F.)

      Unless you have a cooling problem, keep things simple and use regular anti-freeze.

      Old post but i have personally used Water wetter and seen a difference. Like Thejdman hit on have a good system to start with and use this as a supplement not as a fix.

      It would be best to start with distilled water, this eliminates minerals that will build up in the system. I personally added water wetter as a supplement.

      Like Steve mentions, if properly sized and functioning, there is no need for additional additive packages.

      The Camaro is now 20 years in on a C&R aluminum radiator using just green anti-freeze changed every four years. The inside of the radiator, via the cap, looks like new.
