I used their 1pc on my '70 Nova. I had to do some trimming on the sail panels, but overall install went well and I really like the finished product. A major advantage over a bow-type with glue is I can remove the windlace and drop it down if I need to run wires or want to strip down the car for paint/metal repair, and then just put it right back into place

Here is a detailed explanation of my install with photos:

I had TMI send me a "naked" set that I covered to match my upholstery. Camaro Central helped set up the custom order with them. It looks great, but haven't installed it yet - waiting to come back from paint.

Yes. I did that by myself, but it would have been easier with 2 people.
      It wasn't too difficult.

I would do the 1 piece in Suede or do the original in Suede with the 4 bars like factory,

Upholstery work can be crazy, cause you can change anything any way you want it, Watch the big car shows and the way they make custom interiors, !

My very 1st 68, had deluxe interior, and the lady I worked for, her and I changed the total interior to Gray velour and black Vinyl, it was beautiful!

My bug was even better, wish I had picks!

      70 Nova SS street/drag 454, T400, 3:55, ugly!

Was the naked version much cheaper than the covered version? I was thinking about purchasing the suede version and then removing it to apply the material that matches my interior.

Knowing TMI its probably an extra $350 like if you want to delete the TMI embroidery. 🙄

Tighten it till it strips & back it off a quarter turn.
