      Rear brake line Routing

      I'm planning out my rear brake line routing and plumbing and have seen it done two different ways.

      The first is the traditional way manufacturer did from the factory with one flex line from the body to the rear housing and then split to each side.

      The other is to split the hard line on the body and run it from one side to the other and then a flex line from there to each caliper.

      What's everyone's take on this?
      How did you run yours?
      Any pros and cons to either method?

      If you route the lines the 2nd way, a flex line at each caliper, you can work on or remove the rear end from the car without disconnecting the calipers from the brake lines.

      You can do combinations, which is my favorite: flex line to rear housing, hard line side to side, then final 6" or so of flex to the caliper.

      Times two on John's way. Makes it easier to match 45 degree flare to bubble flare also.
