Red Dead Redemption: My 1968 Pro-Touring GTO

      Hey everyone!

Been a long time since I posted here but figured this car was a fitting reason to get back in the game. She's been around since I was in high school (several decades ago) but never got the love she really deserved. She looks ok from 20 feet but she does have some of the textbook rust issues prone to A bodies. I will most likely iterate this car as things move forward with the first version being all business underneath. Not really worrying too much about appearance beyond the absolute necessary things, but more geared to suspension, brakes and cooling. I am keeping the Pontiac 400 and 400 trans for now and will be trying my hand at auto-crossing her as much as feasible. I will be converting her to Holley fuel injection, Rick's/vaporworx tank, UMI or ridetech suspension, Kore3, Electric fans, etc... My father and I want to drive the pants off her.

I have several videos of my automotive escapades on my YouTube channel: BanditDave's Toy Chest, so please check it out, but without further wait, here's day one of RDR's resurrection:
