Project done BUT leaky exhaust going to kill me

Guys, I need your help. I have KOOKs long tube headers. “H” pipe. No cats. Flowmaster mufflers that dump about 10” behind the bumper (so basically under the car at the back).

it smells like I has exhaust pouring in the car. What can/should I do to get rid of the fumes?

      Thanks

      Jeff

Here is the car. Went for a rip tonight with windows up and no exhaust fumes in the car. So it leads me to believe that the dump should be extended to the rear bumpers as suggested.

The problem is, that looks not good. Is there an advanced solution of adding some kind of duct that pics up air and influences the dumped exhaust to exit the car.?

i like the exhaust “tucked away”

      Thanks for replies.

      In short, no.

Take a look at every new car. All have some type of exhaust that exits the rear or side/rear that directs away from the vehicle.

Combine this with modern catalytic converters and the bulk of exhaust smell goes away.

I always run the tail pipes out to the rear bumper. At the exit I add 45 degree down pipes cut at a diagonal that are just barely seen from the out side of the car.
