      G-Body with C4 Calipers

I need to connect the factory G-body hard lines (which I think is 3/16") to a C4 caliper (which I think is M10) but I'm not having much luck finding the correct flex hose. I've searched this forum without much luck and I'm sure someone has been down this road before. Can someone recommend a part number or a place to buy the front flex hoses I need?

      Thanks

Just go to your local auto store and get a roll of nickel/copper line. Easy to bend it by hand.

I'm looking for the flex line, not the hard line.

Could you get a "stock" C4 flex lines along with a couple of metric bubble flare nuts and flare the 3/16" hard lines to bubble flare?
Or if the C4 flex lines use the banjo fittings on the caliper like a C5 caliper you could get a universal SS flex line with the stock 3/16" 45 degree flare to the hard line and on the other end a banjo fitting to the caliper.
Call Tobin and KORE3. I'd be shocked if he didn't have exactly what you need.

I have C5 calipers up front & I used the stock G body flex hose with new washers at the calipers. FOr the rear, seems like I used the OEM style flex hoses from the Vette but had to replace the hard line on the axle to fit to the bubble flare on the flex. Can't remember for sure, been a while.

79Camaro: I will give him a call and see what he says.

Samckitt: I was wondering about that, C4, C5 & C6 all use the same 10mm banjo bolt from what I've read. Is the G-body a 10mm as well or a 7/16"?

Another way to go is to use AN adapters and -3 AN flex lines. On an '87 g-body did this when swapping the 1998-2002 f-body brakes onto the car. Can go from darn near any hardline fitting to -3AN with ease. Along with the caliper banjo fittings.

Do you have a link to the fittings or even pictures of your lines?

This company has made all of my brake lines. They are local to me. I just give them both end sizes and length and they make it. They can make it hose or braided stainless.
