Question on VA EZ crimp fittings/hose

I want to switch out a couple of my hoses to the EZ crimp product line. Summit carries all the fittings but not the hose and it seems to take quite a while to get the hose. Does anyone know if it is necessary to use the EZ crimp hose from VA or can/does any R134 approved hose work just fine? I need #8 and #10. Thank you!

The Vintage Air hose is manufactured by Eaton / Aeroquip. You don't necessarily have to use Vintage Air part numbers to acquire the hose you need.
Not sure if the hose at your local parts store would be compatible with the Aeroquip EZ clip hose fittings and clamps as I think most of those hoses are larger diameter for a compressed collar type installation.

I buy my Eaton aeroquip hose at a local hydraulic hose shop and also a local Thermaking. Thermaking does tractor trailer AC/refrigerant stuff.

Thank you to all those who have replied.

Your responses have made it easier to just look for the Eaton product line. The #10 is GH001-10 and # 8 is GH001-8 and so on.
      Thanks again!

Size: 132.4 KBA friend of mine sent me this. These were the parts he used for his install. Might give someone some help in finding the individual parts.
