      hydra boost braking would this fit

      hello all . i have a 1982 c3 corvette and wanting to fit hydraboost . i have a hyratech kit which i bought for my 2nd gen trans am but never used . my question is can i fit this to my corvette am i right in thinking the only difference would be the fire wall fitting plate . cheers kev

      There is no change on the firewall side. You would just be replacing the master cylinder.

      thank you for the reply . mine is the hydratech kit and have the baer billet master cylinder is that ok . cheers kev

      You should be fine in either case. The main thing will be using the proper bore size. Also, with those hydroboost units, I believe there is a long/short push rod version. The main thing will be making sure the booster push rod and master is right.

      Some master cylinders have a little removable pin for using a long or short pushrod. Looks like a little bullet that slips in the back.

      You’ll figure it out.
