Any parts store will have a selection of brake fittings.

If the C5 master fittings are the same as the 2002 fbody master fittings they are an odd ball size. I go junk yard diving to get them. In lieu of that you could buy the GM brake lines just for the fittings.

M12x1.5 is a very rare size. When I was doing this swap, I checked every parts store in town - no luck.

What I ended up doing is ordering an Edelmann 262400 adapter - it's M12x1.5 bubble male to 7/16-24 female inverted flare. From there I used a 7/16-24 tube nut on 3/16 line using an Edelmann 121034 tube nut. This tube nut is kind of special because it uses the thread size for 1/4" brake line (7/16-24) but the "hole" in the fitting is sized for 3/16" line. I got the adapter and tube nut on rockauto - about $3 total + $3 shipping.

Go to your local pull a part and grab the fittings off a late model GM vehicle, they're all a pretty much standard size. M12x1.5 rare? Not since the year 2000? Go to napaonline and look up any late model master cylinder, they show you the fitting thread type/size.

Remember you need to run a bubble flare with the factory style fittings.

Sounded like the OP wanted to run 3/16" brake line. All of the factory M12x1.5 fittings I've run across are for 6mm brake line. You can drill them out a little and make them work with 1/4" brake line, but they won't work with 3/16".

Sorry, didn't pick up on that. I'd used copper nickel line, was a bit more forgiving.

Thanks guys. Sorry for such a late reply to your answers I ended up grabbing them from Napa.
Question: the "rear brake line fitting" that screws into the proportionate valve is a 7/16 - 20 OR 7/16 - 24?
