      Hello from West Virgina

Glad to have discovered this site. I'm doing a pro touring car, a 73 Trans Am with a 455SD engine that's been stroked to a 496.
The car is being built in Gettysburg Pa. by Wet Dreams Resto, the engine is being built in Pittsburg Pa. by Gary Cygan. I'm lucky to
have these guys on my team.

The engine will have a Super Duty heads and block, the heads are being ported and built by SD Performance in Canada.
The car is being built with a DSE suspension and TARE 17" minilite style wheels with 275x17 on the front and 335x17 on the rear.
It's been tubbed and will have a 4 link and a 9" rear diff with 13" Baer brakes all around.

The engine will be Nascar style with a Bryant billet crank, Oliver rods and CA pistons with a shaft mounted rockers and other heavy duty parts.
Lastly, I bought the car new in 73 and took it on my eloped honeymoon that year.

This site looks to be just what I needed. Transam Country looks to be dead in the water.

Any other Trans Am guys here? :-)

Haven't figured out how to post photos yet?
      Darryl
