      Clutch Self bleeding

      Thoughts on this process.

T56 magnum, GM clutch master and slave cylinders. remote bleeder line installed.
I filled reservoir with fluid put a mitivac in to pull air. Now if i extend the remote bleeder and put it in the the reservoir creating a complete loop can't I just pump the petal with the bleeder open?

Yes you could. I normally use a coke bottle full of brake fluid and the bleeder line submerged. Easiest way to bleed that setup imo.

When I did my I just used the Mityvac on the remote bleeder IICC. Bled it like a brake line. Pump up the Mityvac and open the bleeder.

What is a remote bleeder? I’m asking because I have a speedway slave cylinder and never can get the full 1.2” of stroke out of it. They say I must have air somewhere but I’ve tried using a motive power bleeder pushing down pressurized fluid from the reservoir all the way through to the bleeder and it just runs clear. I got the closest by removing the slave and letting it hang down, and work the piston in and out while the reservoir cap is off. That gets air out but again, never that last bit. My clutch releases about an 1” off the floor… I need just a little more piston stroke in the slave.

its a kit just a foot of -3 line and a bleeder screw at the end. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/qtm-710105
