      Front leaf spring pocket mod question

      Quite a while back, someone posted pics of a modified spring pocket on (I believe) a 2nd gen f-body to eliminate the J nuts along with a few other things. Possibly getting rid of the part that went into the pocket. I never saved the pics and don't recall the thread. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

      Do you mean J nuts? I've never heard of a J hook on our cars
      As for the other post, I read modifying the spring pocket and my brain went on auto pilot

      Yes, thanks for catching that. Somehow it autocorrected to hooks. J nuts is what I meant. I thought someone referenced a Detroit Speed build, but could be wrong.

      Here is the spring pocket reinforcement but doesn't do away with the j nuts.
